Build-a-Bug!
Visitors create their own insect at the “Build-A-Bug!” exhibit. First the visitor chooses a desert, meadow or swamp habitat for their bug. Next the visitor chooses a head, thorax and abdomen to build their bug. While selecting bug parts, visitors must keep in mind what parts will be best for their habitat. When the bug is complete, the visitor releases it into the habitat to see if it can survive. If the visitor chose their parts wisely, their bug will thrive. If not, it may dry up, starve or be eaten by a predator.
NETG created the background graphics, soundtrack and multimedia software. The insects were designed and illustrated by Katy Bratun.
