Visitors can search the database by name, location, ship or occupation.

Visitors help Emma collect clues to her ancestry.

Visitors learn about the first Massachusetts settlers at the “Plymouth Ancestors” kiosk. Visitors can search a database of colonists by name, ship, settlement, and occupation. Several themed areas can also be explored including the history of Plimoth Plantation, common colonial possessions, native Wompanoag people, and genealogical research. Visitors can choose to email colonial biographies and other historical information while exploring the kiosk.

Additionally, the animated game “Emma’s History Mystery” invites visitors to help Emma research her ancestors by visiting the town hall, library, graveyard, and interviewing local residents.

NETG provided all the multimedia programming for the “Plymouth Ancestors” kiosk.
