Build A Bike at the CT Science Center

The basics of bike design are explored in the Build A Bike exhibit.  Visitors choose a terrain and then try to design the best bike for that terrain.  Visitors scan frames, wheels, drive-trains and seats to create their virtual bike.  When the bike is complete, they view a video test ride to see the results.

NETG provided the multimedia software for Build A Bike.

Visitors build a virtual bike by scanning bike parts.

The bike is scored on how well the components work for the terrain.
